Two of my
favorite paintings from the past years.
And one that I'm
not too sure about |

THE STILL of the NIGHT
This turned out the best of any I had ever
painted. The original is painted on the top of a wooden TV tray.
The cottage is from a picture I saw in a book. The landscape is
imaginary (or a memory from a previous life, if you believe such
things) |

MY SANTA
This was my one & only portrait painting.
It was inspired from a painting of Santa that my brother has.
I had a blank canvas at the time & thought I'd give it a shot.
Every year, it hangs proudly in the family room at Christmas time.
It's just above the stairs leading into the room, and when the
grandkids were little, & I carried them past the painting, I would
stop & say" Ho-Ho-Ho" This year they were all too old
or big for me to carry. Dec 2011. |

THE BIRDS
This is a weird one- I started it around Feb.
2006 & finished it almost 2 years later- in between, the clouds must
have been repainted 20 times, and the buildings a couple of times.
It is what my mind's eye thinks a fishing village on the east coast
would look like. If Bob Ross was right, in my world, everything is
perfect- there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents! |

And here are a
few that I like as well. |
|

This was painted on a wooden plate for Mary
Thornton. |

This was for Raemie's garden on Prince Albert
Street |

This is a wooden waste basket- I painted these
for Karen's sisters in 2004- Don't know why I never took pictures of
the other ones?? |

|

Here's another of the wooden waste baskets.
This is Peggy's. |
