Paintings from 2018

  Paintings from 2018, inspired by.....
  and and the occasional

It all started with Krista asking me to paint Cory's kids (dogs)-all 4 of them for his birthday!

Then it just got out of control! Cause he got 1 more- Tigre

And from there, one thing led to another, and another & another- you'll see!

Robin on the left, Rogue on the right

Storm on the left, Gambit on the right

Here's how Cory hung all 5.

Then I thought that Mel's dog, Mr. Pickles, looked cute, so...

My daughter asked me to paint her friend's older dog, Solo

Then I painted a dog who had passed on, for a friend. This is my rendition of a Shar-Pei named Moshi- very regal looking

I rec'd a very nice card from Moshi's Mom

Then, I commemorated the one year passing of my Grand-daughters' dog, Isabelle!

And then I heard that their Mom wanted paintings of all their pets, so...

Max on the left (RIP), Nikki on the right

Penelope on the left, Mushu on the right
Below are all the paintings hanging at my grand-daughters' home

Ashlynn painted Ruby, upper right

Here's a cute little puppy that I saw a photo of. He died very young because of parvo.

His name was Fox but I think of him as my little Bear

Then, since Gail looks after Abby sometimes, I painted her little doggie, BJ

Next, another painting to commemorate the passing of Friscuit, my son & grand-daughters' cat

Then to remember a beautiful dog that my cousins Mike & Pam had, Cassie...

Daphne, who cuts my hair , had her little doggie, Cosmo, pass away, so...

So now, time to update Abby, our little Shih-Tzu that has been with us since January 2013- Photo on left is what I painted in 2014- to the right, I just finished.

She has sure grown a lot darker.

Olivia saw this on Facebook & said she wanted it! Why, I don't know.

So, here's what I have painted for her. Hope it doesn't scare her! Not even sure what kind of a critter that it is!

She likes it! His name is Phil!

Here's Cricket on the left, & Holly, 2 cute little doggies that lived with Karen & Dave.

And now I'm back into landscapes- this was inspired by a Christmas card.

And now another doggie- this is Eva. My nephew Cory wanted it painted as a Christmas gift for his brother-in-law, and I finished it about Dec 17th!
So, you can see that I've been pretty busy since Feb 2018! This was my last painting for 2018.
